Stressful Semester Over

First semester is officially over and second semester is fast approaching! but before anything else, I would like to blog what had happened to me during the last semester. Not just paper-works, field-works and all that but I also had the opportunity to work with a team. That's right, I'm talking about one of our major subjects. A volleyball team actually, that according to Peter Drucker was the most effective team in developing management team.

In a volleyball team, players work with and support each other. Each player is dedicated. Players develop skills at all positions which is the best analogy for today's team. What our professor did was she picked random groups in the section in which every activity we were asked to come up with the best report. Luckily, I was grouped with three girls that has the best inputs.

This is a picture of me and my group-mates when we were working at our generated concepts.

I must say that we all put in our efforts in making our concepts all possible. We know that it takes more effort in making dreams to reality but I'm glad we did it with justice and survived it. I honestly didn't know anything about my group-mates but once we were working that's where I get to know them more and I hope that they did know something about me too! Hahaha! Just because I was always silent and not reacting when they're telling stories.

The chosen name of our company was JARK which was the initial of our names. The logo was edited by one of my group-mates neighbor. Isn't it great? Haha! we had to do some inputs in our concept because our professor told us to do so. I remember trying to put some inputs on it and it came too shallow. I just know it did! Errr.

This was a picture of our first concept and then later turned out to be our winning concept and we then later market test it so that we would know that it has the A-T-A-R Components. Our professor said that this was the kind of product that when you buy it, you won't tend to buy it again. I somehow agree to what she said on that. I mean I totally get her point.

We kinda played it safe from my point of view but I couldn't blame anyone on my team because we have no control on the results and I'm not just saying that because it's not the concept but because its viability is somehow vague and it seemed to lack the "umf" factor in it. If ever our professor wouldn't re-group us in the next semester, I would say that we better change our product.
